Admission to all long duration programs of TSA is based on three program specific eligibility criteria viz. academic record, years and nature of experience and personal profile of applicants as revealed through an online assessment. In case of certain programs, personal interview with the president of the academy will be necessary.

In general, all programs of TSA except a few, are available on digital platform (video conferencing as well as satellite based) across major cities and town in India during day time (9:30am to 12:30pm) as well during evening hours (6:45 to 9:45) and individual applicants as as well as corporate sector companies are free to choose either the day time or evening hours. The admission process is on throughout the year and as soon as the number of paid participants for a perticular batch of a program exceeds 40, the sessions for the said batch shall commence. The maximum number of intake for a batch of a program is currently 80.

Prof. Ranjan Das, Professor of Strategic and International Management at IIM Calcutta (currently on sabbatical) will be driving the mission of the Academy and putting in place the digital technology and backend infrastructure to deliver the high value content and experience. Prof. Das who is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and also teachers at renowned business schools outside India, will be one of the strategic management faculties of the Academy. Prior to academia in 1995, Professor Das, who is currently the President of the Strategy Academy, had 20 years of industry experience at such senior levels as General Manager of a multinational company and Managing Director of a joint sector company. Prof. Das has published seven books and authored many articles and case studies both in India and abroad. He has offered over 150 long and short duration executive education programs in India and over seas since joining the academia in 1995 and in fact was one of the originators of long duration executive education in India. Prof. Das advises many companies in India and overseas in the areas of strategy, execution, M&A and corporat tructuring, strategic marketing, risk management and organisation and HR.
Schedule of sessions, along with address of the class room in the city of stay of the participant, where the sessions will be normally held, will be sent along with the admission letter. Such a schedule will be prepared taking into account the choice made at the time of registration regarding the preference for attending sessions (viz. either predominantly during the day time with some evening time sessions or predominantly during evening time with some day time sessions).
